Sign in to websites for an agent
Sign in to a website in the agent's browser one time. The agent then uses the saved sign-in in later conversations.
An agent can use a web browser to do work on websites. Sign in to a website in that browser one time. The sign-in stays saved, so the agent can use the account again in later conversations.
Before you start
- You must be a workspace Owner or Admin. Only admins can view the live browser and manage saved browsers. Other members see their status.
- The agent must have browser access. See Give an agent browser access.
Anyone who can run the agent can ask it to act through the signed-in accounts. Sign in only with accounts that are safe to share with those people. Websites can contain prompt injection, so allow only the websites that the agent needs.
Sign in for the agent
- Open a conversation with the agent.
- Select the globe button Browser to open the browser panel.
- Select Open browser. d5s uses the agent's saved browser, or prepares one for the agent.
- In Address, enter the URL of the sign-in page.
- Sign in on the page.
The panel shows Sign-ins are saved for this agent. The sign-in stays after the browser stops and starts again. Ask the agent to continue its task.
Share a saved browser between agents
By default, each agent has its own saved browser. To let a second agent use the same sign-ins:
- Open the second agent's Browser settings.
- In Advanced → Saved browser, choose the saved browser.
- Select Save browser access and confirm.
Sharing a saved browser also shares its signed-in accounts. Only one conversation can use a saved browser at a time.
Manage saved browsers
Go to Settings → Workspaces → your workspace → Browser. The Browser profiles card lists the workspace's saved browsers.
- Create profile makes a new saved browser. A new profile gives no agent access.
- Agent access sets which agents can use the profile.
- Rename changes the profile name.
- Delete profile removes the saved browser data and all agent access. You cannot undo this.
If something goes wrong
- This profile is in use by another conversation: wait until the other conversation stops, or choose another saved browser.
- The browser is paused: select Resume browser when you are ready.
- Browser access is off: turn on Allow browser in Browser settings.
- This page could not be opened: the website is not on the agent's allowed list. Change Website access in Browser settings.
- The website signs you out: sign in again in the browser panel.
