Plans and credits
Understand plan prices, included AI credits, team seat classes, proration, and billing boundaries.
d5s billing is organization-scoped. The plan catalog and the organization's Billing page show the products, prices, billing cycle, and seat quantities available to that organization.
| Plan or seat class | Monthly price | Seats | Billing options |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 1 | Free |
| Pro | $25 | 1 | Monthly |
| Max | $110 | 1 | Monthly |
| Team | $35 | 1-50 | Monthly or annual |
| Team+ | $110 | 1-50 | Monthly or annual |
| Enterprise | $119 | 10+ | Monthly or annual |
Team+ is a premium seat class within one Team subscription, not a separate team workspace plan. A Team subscription can mix standard Team and premium Team+ seats. Teams that purchase seats upfront choose their initial seat mix at checkout. If your team uses seats on joining, it starts with one standard seat for its owner.
Max is the premium plan for a personal organization of one. New Pro and Max subscriptions are monthly-only. Which plans an organization can buy follows its kind: a personal organization buys the solo plans (Pro or Max), and a team organization buys Team seats.
Creating or starting a team
Both Team purchase paths are available from the organization Billing page.
From a personal organization, select Set up a team. A personal organization never becomes a team; this path creates a separate team instead. Choose the team's region before naming it or reading an existing draft. Available regions accept a new team; Existing organizations only regions remain reachable but cannot be selected for creation. A choice in another region continues on that region's d5s address, where you may need to sign in again. Then name the team. If your team uses seats on joining, review You, team owner with 1 standard seat, the current offer, and the renewal terms. Otherwise, choose its standard and premium seat mix. The dialog shows the monthly total before VAT, and nothing is created until you continue to payment. Your personal organization keeps its plan, its credits, and its workspaces.
From an existing team organization without an active Team subscription, select Choose seats and start Team. Choose its initial standard and premium seat mix, then continue to Stripe. Checkout uses that same organization, so it does not require a personal organization and does not create another team.
You keep at most one unpaid team at a time. If you leave checkout without paying, that empty team stays as a draft, and starting team setup again resumes it — with a new name if you want one — instead of creating a second team. A team cannot be deleted in-app; cancel its subscription in the Billing Portal instead.
Every checkout returns to the organization's Billing page. Once Stripe activates the subscription, d5s opens the team's existing first workspace or creates one when the team has none. If that step fails, Billing reports it and offers Retry.
Seats on joining
If your team uses seats on joining, invite colleagues after setup. In Invite people, enter an email and select Review invite. An organization Owner or Admin must authorize a new seat. Review the monthly price, the maximum charge when the person joins, and the estimated renewal amount and date, then select Authorize seat and invite. Sending authorizes this individual seat's monthly price plus applicable tax and the maximum joining charge. The total renewal is an estimate at the current team size; other accepted invitations can change it. The quote lasts up to 15 minutes; review it again if it expires.
A pending invitation is not charged. When a new colleague accepts and needs additional capacity, d5s adds a standard seat after payment succeeds, or applies the free period shown in the invitation offer. The maximum joining charge includes applicable tax; the estimated renewal amount shows applicable tax separately. A colleague who already has an active team membership needs no additional seat. A workspace Owner or Admin can review a no-charge invitation for an existing member or available purchased capacity without gaining authority to approve a new charge. Accepting opens the workspace named in the invitation.
When a free-seat offer is available, Reserve free seat and invite authorizes the individual seat's displayed monthly price after its free period. The invitation reservation lasts up to 48 hours and never beyond the team's first billing-period end. An accepted free seat stays free only until that first period ends, then renews at the displayed standard price. A payment method is still required for team setup. If the offer expires or becomes unavailable, d5s asks for fresh authorization instead of charging under the expired free offer.
If payment fails, billing changes, or the joining charge would exceed the authorized maximum, an organization Owner or Admin must review and authorize a new invitation. If a purchase is still being confirmed, retry acceptance as directed; contact support if reconciliation is required.
Seat counts
Paid subscription seat limits and per-class quantities are reported from Stripe line items. Personal-organization guests do not become billable seats, so inviting someone to a shared workspace does not change the personal owner's reported seat usage. Team organizations report active organization members as seat usage. For teams that purchase seats upfront, invitations count against seat capacity: active members plus pending invitations cannot exceed the effective seat quantity, and a paid seat decrease cannot drop below that same number. When a paid decrease is scheduled, new invitations are checked against the lower upcoming quantity. For teams using seats on joining, pending invitations with a seat authorization do not purchase capacity in advance; other invitations still need available purchased capacity.
The billing summary and entitlement APIs expose the aggregate seat count plus standard and premium quantities, and the billing summary reports a scheduled seat decrease with its effective date. Use the generated OpenAPI description for exact response schemas.
Self-serve billing actions
Organization owners and admins start subscriptions, buy credit top-ups, open the Stripe Billing Portal, and change Team seat quantities. During first-login setup, the owner of a new personal organization can continue on Free or view the available plans. Completing setup opens workspace chat; plans can also be changed later from Billing. These actions live on the organization's Billing page and on the organization billing API behind it; see Administer d5s for the page itself. New subscriptions are monthly-only, and subscription Checkout accepts card payments only. Every Checkout requires the buyer to tick one acceptance before paying; Stripe records that acceptance with the session, and d5s keeps the exact immutable document-version set with the subscription or completed top-up settlement. Which terms apply depends on what is bought, not on the currency. Personal plans and credit top-ups may be bought by consumers: their checkbox accepts the Consumer Terms and, for a subscription, asks d5s to start the service at once; for a top-up, it asks for immediate delivery of the credits. Team is sold to businesses and organisations: its checkbox is a declaration that you buy for a business and accept the Business SaaS Terms, Data Processing Addendum and Acceptable Use Policy. Credit top-ups are one-time purchases of a fixed credit package and require a subscription that is not canceled. Each package states its price and the exact amount of usage credits it adds; the Billing page shows both before payment. Stripe's webhook adds that stated credit amount once payment is confirmed. Subscriptions for organizations served from the EU region are priced in euro and from the US region in US dollars, and an organization keeps its subscription currency. Credit top-ups are priced in US dollars for every organization, and credit balances are always stated in US dollars. Checkout returns land on the organization's Billing page, which confirms the plan or the credited amount once Stripe's webhook has been processed. Personal plan prices in euro are shown including VAT at the Netherlands rate once VAT is charged at checkout; US-dollar prices, Team seat prices, and credit top-ups are shown before VAT. In every case Stripe calculates the exact VAT for the organization's country at checkout, and the checkout total is the amount charged. Subscriptions renew every month until cancelled; cancel at any time in Settings → Billing and the subscription ends at the end of the paid period. An eligible consumer subscription shows Withdraw contract in Settings → Billing during the 14-day withdrawal period. The separate confirmation records the consumer's statement and server time before processing the subscription end, refund, and acknowledgement email. Emailing hello@d5s.tech and the model form in the Consumer Terms remain available. A withdrawn subscription is refunded for the part not supplied, and its remaining subscription credits are removed; purchased top-up credits remain available. Credits bought as a top-up are delivered at once, so the right of withdrawal ends when delivery starts. The Billing Portal serves organizations that already have a Stripe billing account, and it is limited to payment method updates, invoice history, and cancellation at the end of the billing period. Plan and seat quantity changes are not available in the portal.
When VAT-inclusive euro billing is enabled, subscription Checkout asks you to confirm a full billing address before paying. A buyer purchasing for a business can also provide its legal name and a supported tax ID. Stripe records corrected billing details on the billing customer and applies the supported business tax treatment. Stripe calculates top-up tax at Checkout.
Subscription Checkout accepts promotion codes. Use Add promotion code on the Stripe checkout page; Stripe validates the code, applies the discount, and calculates tax on the discounted amount. Some codes are limited to specific plans or to a set duration, and each offer states its own terms. d5s can also run a limited personal-plan launch offer that is applied automatically: while one is live for your organization, the Billing page announces it with the number of spots left, the plan picker highlights the offer's plan card with a First month free mark and the discounted first-month price, the app sidebar shows a First month free row with the spots-left count that opens the plan picker, checkout arrives with the discount already applied and no code entry, and when the offer's spots run out checkout proceeds at the ordinary price. While a discount is active, the Billing page's plan card shows it under the seat line — the seat line itself keeps the full list price. A discount that covers the whole first invoice still requires a card at checkout, charges nothing for that period, and continues at full price from the next renewal; included credits are granted in full during the discounted period. Credit top-ups do not accept promotion codes. When a discount ends, the line disappears with the next billing update — at the latest at the renewal — and past discounted invoices remain in the Billing Portal's invoice history.
Team seat changes set absolute standard and premium quantities. Growth and class upgrades apply after successful payment. Removals and downgrades take effect at the end of the billing cycle, and requesting the current quantities again cancels a pending decrease. Pro and Max are single-seat plans. An active monthly Pro subscription can upgrade to Max from the plan picker. Downgrades are not available in-app; cancel at period end in the Billing Portal and start a new subscription once the period ends.
Plan usage limits
The Free plan can use GPT-5.6 Luna only. Workspace model settings keep the full catalog visible, but every other model is unavailable until the organization moves to a paid plan. Downgrading a paid organization to Free applies the Luna-only restriction immediately without deleting its saved model choices; upgrading restores those choices automatically.
The most expensive models in the catalog carry a $$$ mark in the composer model menu and on Workspace settings → Models. The mark is shown on every plan. On Free, Pro, and Team, the first time a member picks a marked model the composer asks them to confirm that the model uses credits fast; Cancel keeps the current model, and the confirmation is remembered per browser. Max and Enterprise members see the mark without the prompt. The mark is a curated label, not a price, and it does not change how a run is admitted or charged.
A paced plan spends its included credits through two sliding windows, one five hours long and one seven days long. The windows move with time, so a window that is still open has no reset time to report. Settings -> Usage -> Plan usage limits shows the share of each window already used. Every active member of a team organization can read that card; the detailed usage analytics below it stay with organization owners and admins. A plan that does not pace a window hides that bar.
The message shown where you send work is the authority on whether a run can start.
A full window, an empty credit balance, a member spend limit, or a missing plan can stop new agent runs.
Making a workspace connector available to a project does not itself consume credits. Model execution and any billable tool or connector work performed during a run do.
Wherever you send work to an agent — a chat, a project's new-chat box, or the agent panel beside a dashboard — the refused run replaces the send button with a message that names which of those applies. Answering an agent's question from a card inside a chat raises the same message above that chat's composer. A full window gives the time it reopens, and a member spend limit gives the end of the current credit period. An empty balance gives a reset date only on a plan whose included credits refresh daily; on a monthly plan, and for a missing plan, no reset time exists to report.
An empty balance offers to buy credits or change the plan, and a missing plan offers to choose one. A full window and a member spend limit offer neither: a purchase adds credits but does not open a pace window early. Those buttons appear only for an owner or admin of the organization that pays; everyone else is pointed at an owner. d5s sends no warning before a limit is reached.
Referral credits
Where the referral programme is available, a paid solo plan (Pro or Max) on a personal organization shows Refer a friend in the sidebar. The dialog carries a personal referral link and states the current reward amounts, the rewards already earned, and how many rewards remain. A friend who signs up through the link and starts their first paid solo subscription receives their reward as usage credits at once. The referrer's reward arrives after the friend's 14-day withdrawal period ends without a withdrawal; a withdrawal cancels the pending reward and removes referral credits already granted for that referral. Rewards are capped per campaign, and friends who join past the cap still receive their own credits. Referral credits never expire. Runs spend included plan credits first, then referral credits, then purchased credits. The Usage credits card on the Billing page lists the referral reward balance when one exists. A referral link belongs to the d5s region that issued it.
Past-due subscriptions
If a renewal payment fails, the Billing page reports the subscription as past due and shows the available recovery action.
Mid-cycle changes
An added paid seat or a move to a higher-credit paid seat class can take effect after successful payment. Removals and class downgrades take effect at the end of the billing period. The Billing and Usage pages show the resulting seat quantities and credit balance.
Settings -> Usage and the Usage credits card on the organization's Billing page show the purchased-credit balance.
