Create a presentation

Turn a brief, source material, and feedback into a polished slide deck entirely through a d5s conversation.

Create and refine a presentation in chat. The agent turns your brief into a self-contained HTML deck that previews in d5s and prints to a 16:9 PDF. You do not need to work in a separate slide editor.

1. Give the agent the communication brief

State the audience, decision or outcome, and evidence the deck may use. Add a target length and tone when they matter. Attach source files or point the agent to approved project files and connectors rather than pasting every detail into the request.

For example:

Create an eight-slide leadership deck from the attached Q3 review. The goal is approval for the onboarding initiative. Lead with the retention result, use a restrained editorial style, cite each metric, and end on the decision.

The agent chooses a built-in presentation preset, outlines one takeaway per slide, and adapts the layouts to the story. Treat the preset as a starting system, not a required six-slide structure.

2. Decide how visuals should earn their place

Ask for charts when the evidence is quantitative. The agent can build the chart in the deck's visual system and keep the source beside it.

When the selected model supports image generation, the agent can also create a small number of image-led covers or explanatory visuals. Say what the image must communicate and where slide copy should sit. The agent inspects generated images before using them and falls back to charts or crisp diagrams when an image does not improve the explanation. Workspace Owners and Admins choose the available image model under Workspace settings → Models.

3. Review and revise in the same conversation

Open the presented deck and give concrete feedback in chat, such as:

  • “Make slides 3 and 4 one evidence slide.”
  • “Use our brand colors but keep the current typography.”
  • “Replace the opening image with a diagram.”
  • “Shorten this for a five-minute update.”

The agent updates the same artifact and presents a new version. Before each delivery it checks slide geometry, content density, offline assets, sample copy, sources, and the narrative from opening claim to final decision.

4. Share or export

Use the HTML artifact for review in d5s. Open it and print to PDF when you need a portable document. The standard workflow does not produce an editable PowerPoint file; ask for another format explicitly if your workspace has a suitable tool for it.
