Replay an agent's browser activity

beta

Open saved browser history to review an agent's earlier work, seek to a moment, or replay a recording during a demonstration.

Browser history lets you review saved browser activity from a conversation. You can use it to check earlier work or show what an agent did during a demonstration.

This feature is in beta. If you see Browser history in the browser panel, you can open the recording list. Workspace owners and admins who can view the conversation can read its recordings.

Open a recording

  1. Open the agent's conversation and its browser panel.
  2. Select Browser history.
  3. Choose a recording from the Recording list.
  4. Select Play to start playback. Select Pause to stop at the current position.
  5. Move the position slider to review a particular moment. Use the speed selector to slow down or speed up playback.

The time beside the slider shows your position and the recording's length. Use Refresh recordings to load newly saved activity. Refresh keeps the recording you selected while it remains available. If there are more recordings, use Older recordings or Newer recordings to change the list.

Understand the recorded view

History stays available when the live browser stops or its saved browser profile is removed. Opening history does not pause the agent or send actions to a website. You can review earlier work while the agent continues browsing.

Recordings contain the agent's visible browser pages. Private control is not recorded. Pages can contain account information, so keep conversation access appropriate for the websites the agent uses. Saved recordings are removed when their conversation is deleted.

Playback is sampled and can omit brief changes. Allow about five seconds for new activity to appear in history, or longer on a slow connection. An interrupted browser or a switch to private control can leave the final few seconds unsaved. Playback waits for images to load when the connection is slow. History keeps a moving window of the latest frames across the conversation. The default window holds 3,600 frames, about 30 minutes at the maximum capture rate. New frames replace older frames, and recording continues. Frames also expire after seven days by default. The recording view shows the current frame limit and expiry period. History shows a notice when frames are missing or older frames have left the window.

If history is empty or interrupted

No recordings yet means this conversation has no saved browser activity. Earlier work cannot be added later. Check that you opened the right conversation, then refresh after the agent uses its browser.

If a frame is unavailable, select Refresh recordings to retry or move the position slider to another point. If access was removed, ask a workspace admin for help.
